In Memoriam: Ciara Abalos

When I was a senior in high school, they were freshmen. We all served, most of us at the Altar, a couple with their music. I called them, "my Angels" because that's exactly what they are to me. At 10:10pm on April 22, one of my Angels took her flight home to God.

Ciara Marie Aguilar Abalos, lovingly called Ciara, 19 years old. Though raised in a family surrounded by politics and media, she grew up to be a simple, humble, kind, and joyful young lady. At first, she seemed quiet and shy, but soon enough, her cheerful personality would shine through.

In her own way, she has changed the world, touched many lives, and reached out to many kinds of people, through kindness and gentleness in her.

High into Heaven,
Fly home to Him,
He who blessed us
With an Angel in you.
